Comedian Randy Lubas began doing comedy while at Indiana University of PA where he graduated with a degree in Marketing and Economics. The proud son of a decorated veteran of WW II Randy was inspired by his father’s escape from poverty through the GI bill.
His comic voice came from the rare ability to spot the ironies in life many people seem to miss. His wry observations have landed him on Dozens of National TV and Radio broadcasts, which include Comedy Central, Showtime, The Nashville Network, and the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, where he is a favorite and has been featured on 6 of their CDs. He has performed over 5000 times in 40 of our states, across Canada and on cruise ships all over the globe.
His uncanny memory and involvement with each audience, make every show unique and unforgettable. He calls on the audience by name and remembers them throughout the evening. Sometimes they become the stars of the night. He has performed at hundreds of corporate events ranging from Tropicana Orange Juice to The Pittsburgh Steelers.
His material pokes fun at realtors, engineers, parenting, the airlines, and our legislators. He is the perfect act for your event and he will make it seem as if he wrote the show just for you. Among his writing, you will find screenplays, stage plays, the animated pilot for “Comedy Island,” seven original songs featured on The Dr. Demento Show, and questions for the show “Street Smarts.” He also has a reality show in development.
Married for 35 years Randy and his wife own and operate their own comedy clubs in Valencia and Simi Valley, CA. Randy has produced 100 Episodes of West Coast Comedy, now seen on Hulu, and is the founder and producer of The Ventura Comedy Festival, which ran for 9 years.
